Tembisa Ivory Park Floods; Residents Affected By Heavy Rains.

Floods: On Friday night heavy rain and flash floods took place in Ivory Park
which is in Tembisa and almost 187 people are left homeless when three people
were reported missing. The rains were so
heavy that several people were go injured and hundreds of people are homeless now. They all were met to the severe injuries due
to the natural disaster. When the
authorities and the recuse teams were reached the affected areas they found
that there were huge damage to the area and the resident of that area are in
need of help. As they were injured in
this, they lost their home and they are starving.
Meanwhile, the visit,
the emergency services were also dispatched on the Friday night as they found
that the four people were missing the following the heavy downpours also the
people who are homeless include kids, adults and oldies also. While some are also facing shortage of food
and even they are in the pain.

The 187 people were

people ahs been given by the ashraful Aid, Shoprite, Foodbank and Gift of the
Givers and the Officials from the City’s Housing Department were busy on the
ground working and they were even lying on the flood line and the resident is
now going to be relocated.
